Had a wonderful day today. Watched THE SOCIAL NETWORK. And guys it's a hell of a movie. Movies about prodigies and geniuses always rock me. It all seems like a fairy tale. Much like the story of Hercules. There is always a fine day when you wake up to an eerie silence within, fully aware that what you are upto is not your belonging. There is something more to life that you gotta go and clinch. And the reach seems probable and the hope is resurgent. In a flash you are conscious of all your nerves are made of and all the past and future swims in front of your eyes. Little rocks, green pastures, teeming mountains and the endless blue of the sky. Its all apparent and for the first while in your life, you have a reason, a challenge, a mission that is by far the most adventurous that you have tasked yourself to. I won't call it a journey as the word is condescending and carries a perception of past and the point from where you started. It is somewhere in between and what you have been through seems immaterial in the shadow of what lies ahead. The challenge is to go reach to yourself and find who you truly are. It's a tale of hope where you are thrusted with the sword in your hand and you find yourself as the leader of the army, baffled at the responsibility, proud at the opportunity, confident in your ability and all the while plugged in to the fact that the time has come. The dream is true and posterity would remember you. You have found your calling.
This is what THE SOCIAL NETWORK was for me. This is how I see the success story of Mark Zuckerburg, the Hercules of Social Networking.
